Prenatal Support

As a Birth Doula, I want to empower and support you and your loved ones until you meet the newest edition to your growing family! I offer two 2 hour Prenatal meetings which allows us to acquaint ourselves as a birth team. We will go over everything you can expect from the Birth experience, questions to bring up to your providers, labor positions, comfort techniques, & special elements you want to bring into the birth room that reflects the love shared within your family.

Labor Support

As a Birth Doula, I offer emotional, physical, informational support during your entire labor. Once you are in labor, we will work together using natural coping techniques, labor positions, and materials discussed and utilized during our Prenatals. During our time together immediately following the birth of your baby I will support you with initial breastfeeding & make sure that you and baby are stable.

Portland Birth Photography

As both a Birth Doula and a Portland Birth Photographer, I’ve cultivated an intuition about when to step back and document a moment versus when to dive in and offer support. This intuition has been honed through countless experiences, allowing me to gauge the energy in a room and the needs of those I’m working with. I know that sometimes the most powerful images come from a moment of stillness, while at other times, my physical presence is what’s truly needed. This balance enhances my ability to serve families, ensuring that they feel both supported and seen.

Postpartum Support

I will meet with you once postpartum (within two weeks following the birth of your newborn) offering up to 2 hours to debrief about your birth & support initial breastfeeding. This gives us a chance to check in with one another and allows me to assess the well being of the family unit.
